2005 — 2012 THE CLUB YEARS
It all started on the Genkersteenweg in Hasselt, inside a raw, no-frills venue known as Cocoon. A big club, heavy bass, and long nights driven purely by music and energy.
These were the formative years.
Residencies, experimentation, and a relentless focus on house & classics culture.
2018 — 20.... THE TAKEOVER
After a six-year silence, Groovy Tunes returned. Reignited by former residents Youri de Coninck and Bjorn Migdalski, the concept was reborn — stronger, sharper, and future-focused.
What started as a club reboot evolved into Groovy Tunes Festival in 2023. Another chapter. Making history.
